Summary: Responsible for sales and technical support of THI products to OEM customers in the Central & Mountain US Region. Responsible for Account management and business development activities.
Territory:, Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Iowa, New Mexico, Colorado, Montana, Wyoming, Utah, Arizona. Some Customers outside of territory may be assigned based on specific experience or expertise.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned as required.

Surveys and pursues potential markets and customers increasing revenue. Develops new business opportunities with new and existing customers

Technical liaison between management, production department, sales department, and customers

Manages all aspects of customer relationship.

Communicates with customers regarding new products, specifications and application of products

Confers with production department managers to assist in specific classification of products from quality assurance position.

Communicates competitive landscape developments.

Coordinates investigation of customer concerns regarding quality, tolerances, specifications and delivered condition of products.

Negotiates settlement of claims and commercial terms within limits prescribed by management.

Conduct market research to develop new applications and opportunities for application of THI’s products.

Skilled user of MS office suite of products with an emphasis on Word, Excel and Powerpoint.

Travel and Location
Education/Training, Experience and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university; and 5 years related experience.
- Engineering degree or commensurate Fluid power component experience.
- Experience working with Mining, Oil & Gas and alternative energy customers is A Plus
- Ability to read blue prints and hydraulic schematics. Certified fluid power specialist a plus.
- Experiencing working direct with OEM customers with a Hydraulic component manufacturer.
- Ability to concise and informative reports, and business correspondence.
- Skilled at effectively presenting information and responding to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Experience managing the technical and commercial aspects of business relationships.
- Existing OEM relationships at commercial and technical level within the assigned region.

Territory: United States.

- Tracks Military programs and engages OEM’s and component providers to promote THI participation in programs and development.

Position Summary:
Studies blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample part to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work piece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.
Measures, marks, and scribes dimensions and reference points on material or work piece as guides for subsequent machining.
Selects, aligns, and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines.
Calculates and sets controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, and depth and angle of cut, or enters commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine control media.
Starts and observes machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and adjusts machine controls or control media as required.
Verifies conformance of finished work piece to specifications.
Sets up and operates machine on trial run to verify accuracy of machine settings or programmed control data.
Confers with engineers, production personnel, programmers, or others to resolve machining or assembly problems. |

Summary: Conducts tests on mechanical equipment by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Designs and directs mechanical engineering and technical personnel in fabrication of testing and test control apparatus and equipment.
Directs and coordinates mechanical engineering activities concerned with development, procurement, installation, and calibration of instruments, equipment, and control devices required to test, telemeter, record, and reduce test data.
Determines conditions under which tests are to be conducted and sequences and phases of test operations.
Directs and exercises control over operational, functional, and performance phases of tests.
Confers with scientific, engineering, and technical personnel to resolve testing problems such as product or system malfunctions, incomplete test data and data interpretation.
Analyzes and interprets test data and prepares technical reports for use by mechanical engineering and management personnel.
Develops or uses computer software and hardware to conduct tests on mechanical products and systems.
Education/Training/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university with zero to two years experience in related industry.
Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets common scientific and technical specifications
Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software; Spreadsheet software; Design software, data acquisition, hydraulic circuits and basic electrical controls.
Ability to work with college level mathematical concepts relative to this position. |
